When Bio is Better: New materials for a cleaner world & Bioproduction 2.0
With this series, TUMCS aims to establish a new tradition: Professors will present their scientific work, research focus, and current projects. While many of them have been active on our campus for years, this series provides a formal setting to showcase their expertise and commitment, very much in the spirit of traditional inaugural lectures.
Historically, inaugural lectures have not been held at TUMCS, although many professors have given such talks at other TUM Schools. With “Research in the Spotlight”, we are now proudly introducing this tradition here in Straubing.
The next lecture will be given by Professor Volker Sieber (Chair of Chemistry of Biogenic Resources) on the topic
“When Bio is Better: New materials for a cleaner world & Bioproduction 2.0 – Going beyond the limits of cell for sustainable chemicals and food products”.
The lecture is open to all members of the university and the KoNaRo family and will take place in lecture hall U7-a (Uferstraße 53).
