Who we are

The Bio Scale-up Center Straubing supports the development and scaling of biotechnological processes as they progress from research to industrial application. As an interface between research and industry, we transfer processes from the laboratory to pilot-plant scale and support our clients all the way to the demonstration scale.

With state-of-the-art infrastructure and interdisciplinary expertise, we enable companies, startups, and research institutions to develop, test, and optimize bio-based technologies under real-world conditions. In this way, we help bring innovative processes to industrial implementation more quickly and drive the bioeconomy forward in a sustainable manner.
