European Climate Pact – Event „Protein-based materials: A sustainable solution for our technological world?” hosted by Prof. Costa

Reflecting the wealth and diversity of climate action in Europe, the Commission is inviting individuals, businesses or civil society organizations to organize Climate Pact satellite events following the launch event. These events (Organiser: ICLEI Europe) will allow for discussions in various languages in order to reach out to local communities, focus on specific topics or highlight the role of particular groups or sectors in the Climate Pact.

For this reason, Prof. Dr. Rubén D. Costa, head of the chair of Biogenic Functional Materials at TUM Campus Straubing, is organizing an event called „Protein-based materials: A sustainable solution for our technological world? “ on Friday, 1st October 2021, 16:00 to 19:00 (CEST). International experts in Biotechnology, Synthetic Biology and Energy will provide a critical vision about the current actions towards developing a future of sustainable society and will conduct a final round table discussion in this webinar (English language).

The event is for experts/non-experts, targeting school/university students and professionals as well as any interested listeners.
