This distinguished accolade, awarded annually by the Student Council (Fachschaft TUMCS e.V.), is a heartfelt tribute to educators who exemplify extraordinary dedication, unwavering commitment and an inspiring passion for academic excellence.

New this year: The introduction of a second award category specifically for Postdocs, honoring the vital role our researchers play in providing high-quality education.

In a closely contested decision, Prof. Dr. Doblinger and Dr. Ibañez have been honored with the Student Teaching Award 2025.

  • Prof. Dr. Doblinger – Is an associate Professor of Innovation and Technology Management and affiliate member at the TUM School of Management. A true beacon of dedication, kindness and power, fostering valuable connections between academia and industry through guest lectures and case studies. An inspiring role model for all students, wanting to pursue a career as an entreprenur or innovator.
  • Dr. Ibañez – Works at the Professorship Chemical Process Engineering, where his responsibilities include leading exercise sessions and parts of lectures. He takes the time to prepare the lecture material for students and present it in an understandable way in exercises and in-depth explanations so that everyone is well prepared for the exams. In his work, it becomes clear that he cares not only about the academic success of his students, but also about spreading his dedication to the subject itself.

The Student Council extends its profound gratitude to all faculty members at TUMCS. Your commitment continues to shape the leaders of tomorrow. Congratulations to our winners. Join us in celebrating them at the Science Prize (Wissenschaftspreis) ceremony this coming summer semester!
