On the 8th May, the TransforM Community and guest gathered for a discussion on „Moonshot Innovations“.
The discussion featured Prof. Claudia Doblinger (TUMCS), Dietmar Harhoff (Directior of Max Plank Innovations & Competition). Panelists included Benjamin Erhart (UVC Partners), Olav Carlsen (SPRIND – German Federal Agency for Breakthrough Innovation), Heike Freund (Marvel Fusion), and Chiara Masellis (TUM Venture Labs), representing perspectives from venture capital, public innovation funding, deep-tech industry, and university-linked entrepreneurship.
Key takeaways included the importance of public and private investment, the value of embracing failure as part of innovation, and the need to involve society and younger generations in shaping transformative technologies.
