European Climate Pact – Event „Protein-based materials” on 1st October
Reflecting the wealth and diversity of climate action in Europe, the Commission is inviting to organize Climate Pact satellite events. For this reason, Prof. Costa is organizing an event called „ Protein-based materials: A sustainable solution for our technological world?“ on 1st October 2021. International experts will provide a critical vision about the current actions towards developing a future of sustainable society.
A standard for AI in biomedicine
An international research team with participants from several universities including the TUM Campus Straubing has proposed a standardized registry for artificial intelligence (AI) work in biomedicine to improve the reproducibility of results and create trust in the use of AI algorithms in biomedical research and, in the future, in everyday clinical practice. The scientists presented their proposal in the scientific journal “Nature Methods”.

Protein-based Lighting Team Wins Royal Society Of Chemistry’s Prestigious New Horizon Prize
