Researchers at the TUM Campus Straubing are testing a new method with farmers in Lower Bavaria: Using measuring strips like a blood sugar meter, the nitrogen content of plants is determined. The aim of the “LifeSenMap” project is to fertilize only as much as the plant needs. Several TUMCS professorships are involved in “LifeSenMap”.
